REFLECTIONS
Reflection Assignment
Each student may complete an optional reflection assignment correlated to each timesheet submitted for additional house points (if all 10 have them attached).
Grades one and two will draw a picture or write 1-2 sentences about their experience. Grades three and four will write 3-4 sentences about the experience. The upper grades will complete complete a detailed paragraph (5-6 sentences) reflecting on the service accomplished. Choose one or a combination of the following questions to complete the reflection:
§ What did you learn from this experience?
§ How did your service impact the community?
§ What were your goals and did you achieve them?
§ How did your service include or improve diversity/diversity education?
§ How can you use this activity to improve other communities?
§ How did this experience change you and what impact will it have on your future?
We recommend you complete the reflection upon completion of each activity while it is fresh in your child’s mind. Please attach it to the timesheet when submitted to the teacher.
