9/11 Day of Remembrance
Join us as we honor those lost and those who rose in service after the 9/11 attacks
September 9th, 2017 Day of Service and Remembrance
In the days and weeks that followed September 11th 2001, our nation came together in an unprecedented spirit of community and volunteerism. This extraordinary response to the September 11 tragedy solidified the notion that compassion for those in need is a very powerful and unifying force.
HandsOn Santa Clarita kicks off their 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance with a Volunteer Rally where those who signed up to volunteer at a service project will have the opportunity to turn in their waivers, receive their t-shirt and breakfast, be introduced to their team leader, and participate in a short 9/11 Ceremony.
By participating in 5th Annual HandsOn Santa Clarita’s 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance individuals can forever remember and pay tribute to the victims of September 11 and honor those that rose in service in response to the attacks. As a way to show our support and gratitude, we ask that you help us serve those who serve us.
